Munich’s “Bayern” defeated Madrid’s “Real” away in the first leg of the 1/4 finals of the Champions League of the 2025/26 season. The match at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium in Madrid ended with a score of 1:2.
The German club opened the scoring at the end of the first half — in the 41st minute, Luis Díaz scored from an assist by Serge Gnabry.
Immediately after the break, Vincent Kompany’s players doubled their lead. In the 21st second of the second half, Harry Kane scored accurately under the right post. Michael Olise assisted him.
In the 74th minute, “Los Blancos” reduced the deficit — Kylian Mbappé closed the cross from the right flank, executed by Trent Alexander-Arnold, at the far post.
Real’s Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin started the match and played the entire game, making five saves.
